Hundreds of workers and employees from 111 countries of the 5 continents are arriving in Durban, South Africa with great enthusiasm from today in order to participate to the 17th World Trade Union Congress, organized in the heroic land of South Africa.


So far, according to the featured numbers, in the Congress are going to take part:

-1200 trade-union participants

-111 countries from the 5 continents

-340 women trade-unionists

-31% of the delegates are from the Public Sector and 69% are private employees.

The WFTU leadership would like to thank the South Africa working class as well as its militant trade unions for their great initiative to host a great trade union event like this.

The 17th World Trade Union Congress is going to be a great democratic, open, internationalist and class-oriented trade union event .

Cientos de delegados y delegadas de 111 países de los 5 continentes están llegando con gran entusiasmo a Durban, en Sudáfrica, para participar en el 17º Congreso Sindical Mundial, organizado en la tierra heroica de Sudáfrica.



Según las cifras hasta este momento, en el Congreso van a participar:

-1200 representantes sindicales

-111 países de los 5 continentes

-340 mujeres sindicalistas

-el 31% de los participantes trabajan en el Sector Público y el 69% en el Sector Privado.



El liderazgo de la FSM quería agradecerle a la clase obrera de Sudáfrica así como a sus sindicatos militantes por su gran iniciativa de hospedar un evento Internacional Sindical tan grande.



El 17º Congreso va a ser un gran evento sindical, abierto, democrático, internacionalista y clasista.

Centaines d’ouvriers, ouvrières et d’employé(e)s issu(e)s des 111 pays des 5 continents ont déjà commencé à arriver à Durban, en Afrique du Sud, pour participer au 17ème Congrès Syndical Mondial, organisé à la terre héroïque d’Afrique du Sud.

Selon les chiffres jusqu´à ce moment-ci, ils y vont participer :

-1200 représentant(es) des syndicats

-111 pays des 5 continents

-340 femmes syndicalistes

-31% des représentants travaillent au secteur public tandis que le 69% au secteur privé.

La direction de la FSM voudrait remercier la classe ouvrière d’Afrique du Sud et ses syndicats militants pour leur grande initiative d’ abriter un évènement syndical international aussi grand.

Le 17ème Congrès sera un important évènement de classe, ouvert, démocratique, internationaliste.
