WFTU World Federation: Message of Condolences to the People of Italy

The World Federation expresses its condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the aftershock on the 29th of May 2012 in Italy.
Earthquakes in Italy have caused a series of deaths and damages over the last years, this, however, has not yet forced the governments in implementing solid protective measures.
The latest earthquake has caused the lives to 17 people, more than 200 are injured and 8.000 people until now have lost their lives and their livelihoods.
We are especially wrathful for the deaths of the workers who were forced by the employers to return to work in an unsafe environment of working conditions.
Concrete earthquake and flooding protective measures must be a stable demand of the trade union organizations around the world.
The capitalist way of development and building puts our lives daily at risk.

La Federazione Mondiale esprime le sue condoglianze alle famiglie di coloro che hanno perso la vita nella scossa di assestamento il 29 maggio 2012 in Italia.
 I Terremoti in Italia hanno causato una serie di morti e danni negli ultimi anni, questo, tuttavia, non ha ancora costretto i governi all'attuazione di  solide misure di sicurezza.
L'ultimo terremoto ha causato la morte di 17 persone, più di 200  feriti e 8.000 persone fino ad ora hanno perso le loro  case  ed i mezzi di sostentamento.
Siamo particolarmente arrabbiati  per la morte degli operai  che sono stati  costretti dagli imprenditori a tornare al lavoro in un ambiente pericoloso.   
Concrete misure di sicurezza su inondazione e terremoto devono essere una richiesta costante delle organizzazioni sindacali mondiali
Il modo di sviluppo e costruzione capitalistico pone  tutti i giorni le nostre vite in pericolo.

PAME-All Workers Militant Front- that represents the class trade union movement of Greece expresses its support to the working class and the people of Italy who suffered the recent earthquakes. We especially express our solidarity to the victims and their families. Greece, also, is a country that suffers earthquakes often and so the workers of Greece understand the difficulties you face.
We know that although earthquakes are natural phenomena, their consequences are deeply classist. In Italy, also, those that suffered the most were poor areas and work places, where security measures are considered a luxury. The protection of human life, in capitalism, the earthquake-proofing schools, public buildings and work places is a “cost” for the governments of the capitalists.
The class, labour movement of Greece supports your struggles for the protection of the rights and the lives of the workers of Italy.

 Il PAME-All Workers Militant Front che rappresenta il movimento sindacale di classe della Grecia esprime il proprio sostegno alla classe operaia e al popolo italiano  che hanno subito i recenti terremoti.
In particolare esprimiamo la nostra solidarietà alle vittime e alle loro famiglie.
Anche la Grecia  è un paese che subisce spesso i terremoti e così gli operai della Grecia comprendono le difficoltà che dovete affrontare.
Consapevoli che sebbene   i terremoti siano fenomeni naturali, le loro conseguenze sono profondamente di classe.
 In Italia, inoltre, quelli che hanno sofferto di più sono state le  aree povere e i luoghi di lavoro, dove le misure di sicurezza sono considerate un lusso.
 La tutela della vita umana, le scuole, gli edifici pubblici e luoghi di lavoro a prova di  terremoto sono un "costo" per i governi capitalisti.
Il movimento sindacale di classe  Greco sostiene le lotte per la tutela dei diritti e le vite dei lavoratori Italiani.
