The USB member of WFTU, expresses  support and solidarity to the struggle of the workers employed in the call centers in the back-offices of PT-MEO, one of the largest Portuguese  telecommunication companies, which uses legalized exploitation agencies such as Manpower, Randstad, Egor, Talent and several others to keep high its profits .

The workers of the Manpower will cross their arms on 25 and 26 February in a strike, called by CGTP-IN to denounce the conditions of exploitation and to claim for the improvement of working conditions, wages and the integration into the effectives workers of the MEO.

It is an exemplary fight that for over a year sees the workers of the Manpower fighting with the slogan “a luta que se perde, é aquela que se abandona”, with at least 4 strikes in 2017  that has reached 80% of accessions at the last strike on November 13th.

The reasons for the Portuguese workers of Manpower are the same as ours. In Italy and in the rest of the EU, in the Telecommunications companies, as in other industrial sectors, the employers use precarious, blackmail, flexible and underpaid forms of work to extract maximum profits. A situation made possible by job laws designed by the employers and contractual agreements signed by the yellow unions of ITUC and reinforced by diktat of EU . A formidable class attack that we are called to reject, fighting with determination , strengthening the trade union organization and the solidarity inside the working class.

L’USB sostiene i lavoratori  Portoghesi della Manpower nella PT-MEO

L'USB organizzazione membro della WFTU esprime sostegno e solidarietà alla lotta dei lavoratori impiegati nei call center nei back-office di PT-MEO, una delle più grandi compagnie di telecomunicazioni portoghesi, che usa agenzie di sfruttamento legalizzate come Manpower, Randstad, Egor, Talent e molti altri per mantenere alti i suoi profitti.

I lavoratori della Manpower incroceranno le armi il 25 e il 26 febbraio in uno sciopero chiamato dalla CGTP-In per denunciare le condizioni di sfruttamento e chiedere il miglioramento delle condizioni di lavoro, dei salari e dell'integrazione nei lavoratori effettivi del MEO.

E’ una lotta esemplare quella che da oltre un anno  vede i lavoratori della Manpower battersi con lo slogan  “a luta que se perde, é aquela que se abandona” , con almeno 4 scioperi nel solo  2017 arrivando all'80% delle adesioni all'ultima astensione dal lavoro  del 13 novembre scorso.

Le ragioni dei lavoratori portoghesi della Manpower  sono le stesse nostre. In Italia e nel resto dell'UE, nelle società di telecomunicazioni, come in altri settori industriali, i datori di lavoro utilizzano forme di lavoro precarie, ricattatorie, flessibili e sottopagate per ottenere i massimi profitti. Una situazione resa possibile dalle leggi sul lavoro progettate dagli  industriali,  dagli  accordi contrattuali firmati dai sindacati gialli della CIS e rafforzate dalle direttive dell’UE . Un formidabile attacco di classe che siamo chiamati a respingere, lottando con forza, rafforzando l'organizzazione sindacale e la solidarietà all’interno della classe lavoratrice.
