The Pancyprian Federation of Labour PEO expresses its solidarity with the general strike called by USB in Italy on October 31st.

The strike is the necessary and dignified response of the working class against the increase in the cost of living and the indifference of the Italian government which proposes meagre and inadequate measures.

We express our full solidarity with the strike of 31 October and the just demands of the Italian workers as well as their struggles to defend their rights and trade union freedoms.
