PAME expresses solidarity with USB and its 19th October mobilisation in all cities of Italy against repression against DDL 1660
PAME denounces the Italian Government that attempts to block and criminalise more workers and people’s struggles.
While they put more resources into the arms industry the people of Italy suffer, and poverty grows. In this context they legislate the bill 1660, to prevent protests and intimidate the people. Especially for migrant workers, even those holding citizenship, the possibility of withdrawal of citizenship is introduced and a series of discriminations is instituted. For movements fighting for the right to housing, measures are put in place to block their action and criminalise activists.
In front of a new capitalist crisis and the growth and expansion of imperialist wars and conflicts the EU and the Governments in each country prepare their new, harsher, anti-people’s legislation to block and prevent peoples fighting for their rights and their lives. It is necessary for the unions of Europe to strengthen their common initiatives against the antiworkers’ attacks of employers and governments and strengthen solidarity with all unions and militants.
We express our solidarity with USB and the workers of Italy in their actions against the attack they suffer on their rights and freedoms.
An injury to one, is an injury to all!
