PAME: solidarity with the persecuted trade unionist Luigi Borrelli and USB

PAME expresses its solidarity with Luigi Borrelli, a USB trade unionist at Brescia airport in Italy, who is threatened with dismissal for refusing to handle military material at a civilian airport.

Unions and trade unionists who fight against war are being targeted and persecuted everywhere in the world. Corporations, governments, the USA – NATO – EU, support the genocide of the Palestinian people by the murderous state of Israel and try to silence every voice that opposes the crime.

The persecution and the threat of dismissal against trade unionist Luigi Borrelli is an attack on the unions that resist the plans and wars of the imperialists, that fight for peace between peoples. It is an attack on the unions that fight for wage increases and the protection of labour rights.

The fight against the war and against the genocide of the Palestinian people is the duty of all unions and trade unionists!

Stop all threats and persecution against Luigi Borrelli and USB now!

We strengthen our solidarity with the people of Palestine!

We support the trade unionists and unions persecuted for their action!
