USB’s internationalist engagement incessantly goes on: a month of international activities against imperialistic aggressions in solidarity with people of Syria and Donbass.

In the next weeks, the USB International Department will participate to a number of initiatives undertaken by the World Federation of Trade Unions.

From 12 to 15 September, in Damascus, a delegation of the USB takes part in the International Meeting called in solidarity with Syrian people, against international interferences and the Daesh.

Around two hundred trade unionists from all over the world will participate in the Meeting, in order to assert that Syrian people are not alone and Syrian workers can find a powerful allied in the international labour movement represented by the WFTU

From 22 to 25 September, in Lugansk, the USB International Department represents WFTU in the militant mission in solidarity with the Donbass people, attacked by the fascist government of Kiev which gets support by USA and EU. This mission is also meant to reaffirm that the WFTU considers the right to self-determination of peoples as an unalienable principle.

On October 3/4/5, the General secretary of the Trade Unions of Public Service Employees and Allied, Pierpaolo Leonardi, who was elected by the XII World Congress of TUI PS&A in Kathmandu, together with the USB International Department, are in São Paulo (Brazil) to participate in the official closing events to celebrate the 70th  anniversary of WFTU.
