The USB expresses support and solidarity to the Pakistan people affected by the heavy rains that are causing casualties and displaced persons, especially among workers and the poor masses of the country.
To make more disastrous the effects of the natural events are the exploitation of the environment to the benefit of profit, together with the lack of a real politic on civil defense , the criminal absence  of the basic standards on safety and protection on  the workplaces, and last but not least  the  underinvestment for the civil protection in the rural areas and in the popular neighborhoods. The USB expresses his condolences to the people of Pakistan, and joins its voice to the oriented class trade unions and workers of Pakistan that are asking urgent helps and a real prevention and security policy through the use of funds and project.
